You can make a general cash donation or choose a specific area for your contribution, such as programs, helmets or boots for our riders, tack, feed for our horses, etc. PARDS will issue a charitable tax receipt for the full amount of your donation.
A monthly donation is one of the best ways to support PARDS riders and our mission. Monthly donations help us to plan funding efficiently and is very cost effective. For as little as $1 a day you can bring the joys of Equine Assisted Therapies to children and youth within the Peace Region. Your donation will be processed on the 15th of every month and you will receive a consolidated tax receipt for your combined annual gifts each January. Does your employer have an “Employee Matching Donation Program”? Many employers will match an employee’s donation (by percentage or dollar for dollar up to a certain amount) to registered charities. Although the process may vary, this can be a great way to significantly increase the impact of your personal donation. Talk to your company’s Human Resources department and find out if they already offer a Matching Donation program. If there is a program already in place, they will provide you with the information you need to match your donation. If there is no program in place, consider discussing the possibility of a Matching Donation program with your company’s Human Resources department. It can be a great opportunity to get your employer involved in their community while supporting the causes that are important to their employees.
