Taya joined the PARDS team in January 2026, bringing with her a lifelong passion for horses, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to make a difference in her community.
Growing up on a farm surrounded by horses, Taya developed a deep love and understanding of these incredible animals from an early age. Her passion for horses, combined with her caring and friendly nature, made her a natural fit for the PARDS team.
Taya began by helping with barn chores in the evenings and on weekends before becoming a tremendous help during summer camps, working with both public and therapeutic riders. Through these experiences, she saw firsthand the positive impact that horses and riding can have on individuals and their lives. Inspired by what she witnessed, Taya expressed an interest in becoming an instructor and has begun her training with PARDS.
Taya will be taking on the Little Pony Motricity Program, where she will share her love of horses with our youngest riders while helping them develop confidence, coordination, and foundational horsemanship skills. She will also continue to be mentored as she gains experience working with our therapeutic riding programs.
Known for her friendly personality, reliability, and willingness to lend a hand, Taya is a valued member of the PARDS team. She takes great pride in contributing to the community, caring for the PARDS herd, and helping riders experience the many benefits that come from connecting with horses.
