Daisy

Daisy, a 6 year old, Fjord x Percheron mare joined the program in the fall of 2023. Her breed is well known to be a great therapeutic riding horse. Daisy is built strong and has a nice steady rolling gate. This helps her riders who have stiff hips by mimicking the motions of the human walk, she is also overhead lift broke, to offer our riders with limited mobility the opportunity to ride. Daisy’s personality is as sweet as pie, some have said she was born broke as nothing seems to bother this girl. This makes her a great for riders who might be a bit nervous or youth in the Youth Leadership program who would benefit from her calming and grounding energy.
